Advertising is how you get your name out there for people to know who you are and what you do. Having a website is a great place to start because it gives you somewhere to land with Advertising.
There are many different forms of Advertising and I will be covering a few different ones here.
The first would be Word Of Mouth. To this day this is the best form of advertising that you can have. It has taken a few different avenues. Having someone promote your business because of a great experience can work wonders.
Another way would be with social media. Now there are free or paid ways to do this. The free one would be to create an account and start posting on your desired platform. Invite your friends to share your page and grow your followers. Another way would be to pay to have an ad placed in a demographic. This is a faster way if you have the capital.
Next, depending on your business something local might be a better option. Now there are many things that happen that you can attend or post in. Things like farmers’ markets, Holiday bazaar, a fundraiser for a charity. These can be great places to meet people and advertise your business.
Finally, the last way that I am going to cover would be emailing advertising. However, this can take two different paths to grow. The first, and slower, would be to gather emails from your website or social media and email them in intervals. The second would be to buy a solo ad campaign from someone that has a list built with something to gather the information that you need. This second say is faster and takes some time to get good at it.
Advertising Focus
It might be good to focus on one path of advertising until you get good at it. Sometimes you might now know what is best for your business so try a few. It is easy to start with the free or cheaper ones and work on the paid forms. Soon you could have something so much better and it could be a campaign away.
