There are many different things to consider when it comes to hosting needs. This would help if you want to build your own website without someone building it.
There are always a few different hosting plans with every company. Most of the time there is a sharded plan, semi-private and private. This depends on your need and what you are willing to pay. Generally speaking, the shared plan is going to be the most cost-effective. The private plan will have the most control and security. You can view my plans (here)
Different Hosting outline
Shared plans. These are with everyone else on this plan. So you might have slower speeds or not as much control over what you are able to do as far as security. These do tend to be the cheapest so if you are getting started this can be a great option. This also has the least amount of data and ram for your website.
The semi-private. This allows people to have better speed and more security as these are not shared with everyone. This is more control and room for you to have a larger website. This would need more data or ram for your website. Also if you are running more traffic this would allow you to host that without a problem.
The private hosting plan. This would be for the largest website or if you are running a ton of traffic. This is also for an e-commerce website. As these are going to have a lot of people’s personal information that you would need to keep safe. These are the ones that are the safest as you are the only one on the server.
I also know that if you start at one plan many times you can upgrade to another as your needs grow so don’t worry. So go out there and start getting what you need and grow yourself.
