Purpose for what you do and why you do it. Now, this is the third and final post on this. Here is the article again. Vision, Mission, and Purpose are three key aspects to why we are in business. If you do not know why you are doing what you are then why do it?
However, the purpose is the feeling behind what you are doing or how you want to make others feel. This is why you are doing what you are. This could be intangible and not as definable as the other two. You might have started your business to get more time in your life or control your schedule. Or your work let you go and had to feed your family. All our stories are unique and special. What are the values that drive you forward?
My Purpose
I wanted to give my family a better life than what they had and wanted people that felt lost to know someone was here to help. I saw a need for small businesses and decided to fill a gap. These are a few things that come to mind with what I am doing and wanting to complete.
I want people to feel like I care about their success and that I want them to prosper and give them hope for their future. knowing that more and more companies are turning to automation to make things more efficient. They are losing what people most want and enjoy about a company. Someone to answer them back and care about what is going on in their world. Sure it might cost a bit more but in the end, it might be much more worth it to gain a lifetime customer or even a friend.
