Success always transfers to all areas of life if you let it. This can be a powerful tool to use in your favor if you allow it to work.
What do I mean by success transfers? Think about the successful people and what they did to get to where they are. This does not have to be in business but in other areas as well. Sports, entertainment, chefs, musicians, and many more.
You might look at this list and say that these things do not have anything in common. For the most part, you would be correct. But there are a few areas where they all are the same. That is what it took to become the best.
Success Similarities
The first thing would be the work habit that it took to get to the top. It has been said that it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill. Many of these people have done well over that by their teenage years. Such as Olympic athletes competing at 16 years old.
The next thing would be that this is where they focused. They were not trying to master everything they focused on what they wanted to master. Jack of all trades is a master at nothing. They might not have done everything that kids do but to have the life they have now I would think it was worth it.
The last thing I am going to cover would be that they have positive influences in their life. From parents, coaches, and team members all helping them keep it up.
To create the life you would like to, look at areas where you have succeeded and let it transfer to the new area. I am sure that you will grow faster when you look for the transferables.
