Finally Friday and It Is New Year’s Eve and New You?

New Year's

Happy New Year’s Eve! This could be the year that you change everything. As always it is never too late to set goals, dream big, and change.

However, that is the hard part. People do not like change. But that is why it is important to start small because if you do not change nothing changes. I do not know if you are like me but I do not want 2022 to be like 2021. Not that it was a bad year but I always want to improve.

New Year’s and My Plan

You can do what you know works for you. But here is what I am going to do going into the new year.

  1. Set my goals.
  2. know why I am working for them.
  3. Build an action plan to complete them. Daily, weekly, monthly.

First, I had to create a target for next year and that is what I did with my goals. What am I going to compete this upcoming year? When do I want it done? Answering these two questions I have a great start.

Next, I needed to take a look at why did I want those goals. The why you do something is very important. Here is my other post on that. If you have not read it then I would check it out about “why” we do something and why we need to know that first. Once that is set I can move on to the last point.

My action plan. Normally this is not the easy part. To set up but know that you should be flexible. If you see that it is not working then change. In order for that to happen, you have to set mini-goals to know if it is working or needs to change.

Small Example

For me, I am planning on posting here every week and now I have been doing this for a few months now. I am looking at the data to see how many people are reading or visiting. In January I will see if I need to post more or change the types of posts.

Here is a great step-by-step guide for action plans Click here.

Overall, you need data and a path to follow now I would love to hear what some of your “new you” is going to be by dropping a comment below or heading to the contact us page.
