Capacity is an interesting thing. We all have the same 24 hours but not everyone accomplishes the same thing. There are people that are running companies and then on the other side others have 8 or 9 children. Different capacities but still doing a lot.
While others are not doing much at all and saying that they are too busy. Have you ever heard the saying if you want something done ask a busy person? Generally speaking, the busier a person is the more than know-how to order their life. To keep things moving well.
Capacity for me
I have always done a lot in life and have been a busy person. But there have been two things in my life that showed me that I had more. The first was when I opened my franchise and it seemed like I was working 16 hours a day. I was doing everything from hiring, recruiting, and selling. We had recently moved and my wife and I were in a new state.
This grew my capacity a lot and I have kept it up to this day with keeping busy. I have heard it say that capacity grows when you take on more than you think you can do and live to tell about it.
The other thing that helped me grow in this area was having children. I am busy with work, activities, side gigs, and now children. They have been such a blessing and the growth opportunities have been many.
In the End
These are two of the biggest things that help grow my capacity. I know there are others but growing here can help in all areas of life. Sometimes you will choose to grow here like opening up a franchise. Or life will force you to grow here. I like choosing when I will grow here.
You can choose to expand this at any time read more books. Help in the community you live in. I know that you can make huge improvements this year when we choose to grow.
