This might sound funny but are you plugged in? Many times we might be plugged in but not to the best power source. This would be where you are getting your information, founding, and mentorship… to name a few.
I know I have talked about some of this stuff before but sometimes it is more about how much we receive from it. Such as there are two different voltages 110 and 220 and you need to know what your device can handle. You will not like the outcome if your device is configured to the other voltage than the one you are trying to use.
This can be the same in our lives. Maybe you are listening to things that are way above where you are at. On a side note, this can be helpful for envisioning the future. Another angle on this would be the fact that we do not let our phones go completely dead for long. We plug them in to make sure they are charged for what we need. I would say the same is true in our life. If we do not recharge we will not be effective.
What Does Being Plugged In Look Like?
I know for myself if was hard to know what “charged” me up. as a teen and young adult I had many sports and hobbies. But were those things the things to fill my battery? I would say that most of the time they were not. Because I was young I could run a long time without being plugged in. But now it is different because of my family.
Overall, I have found new things to do with my wife and kids that recharge me. Such as going to playgrounds to spend some great time with them. I know that for everyone this will be different but I think that it can change everything if you are not recharging.
